Mynydd Outdoor Adventure specialise in activity breaks for Stag and Hen Groups, whether you want a Half Day Activity or a Full Weekends Adventure. We have several packages that are suitable.
With all groups of 10 or more the Stag/Hen go free and with groups of 15 or more the Best Man/Maid of Honour also go free.
Cardiff City Experience
Stay at the centrally located Bunk House Hostel on St Mary Street, Cardiff. The Bunk House has a bar and nightclub on the premises.
The Bunk House bar is open to the public, but as a resident you'll get 10% off your drinks. At night, live DJs play a mix of funky tunes to get you revved up, but in the day you can relax, watch live sport on large screen TVs, or borrow a laptop and login to the free WiFi network. Open late weekdays and till 2am weekends, you're guaranteed a lively time at Bunk House Bar. Also in conjunction with Spillars Records, the world's oldest record store, The Bunk House has opened a brand new type of club in Cardiff. With a variety of live DJs, bands, acoustic sets and open mic nights, Bunkhouse Boogie is a welcome alternative to the mainstream Cardiff nightlife.
We’ll arrange pickup and drop off in Cardiff and you can choose between Gorge Walking/Canyoning or Coasteering. Also included in the price is a packed lunch. Please contact the office for Prices and availability.
Tipi Adventure Experience*
Not the city type? Then why not try our Tipi Adventures, staying in a Native American Sioux style Tipi near the Glamorgan Heritage Coast and the ruined Ogmore Castle. This is an amazing choice for a Stag or Hen weekend adventure. Each Tipi easily accommodates 8 adults comfortably, there is a large campfire and BBQ facilities for each Tipi.
The Tipis are dry and warm & there are toilet and shower facilities just across the lane. There is a farmhouse close by that offers breakfast, afternoon teas and often lunch. A traditional country pub, The Pelican, is also close by offering traditional ales, good food, live music and a friendly atmosphere.
Ogmore Farm also offers a unique horse riding experience on Newton Beach and through Merthyr Mawr sand dunes (the highest sand dune slacks in Europe). Why not also try Sand Sledging*, enormous fun for everyone and any age. Simply walk to the top and slide down, what could be simpler.
Combine your Tipi stay with a choice of 1 or 2 activities from the Mynydd Outdoor Adventure activity pages. We recommend Gorge Walking/Canyoning or Coasteering and Climbing/Abseiling

A basic level of fitness is required to take part in all adventurous activities and the ability to swim is an advantage for Coasteering. All the appropriate safety and technical equipment is provided.
